'The University of North Georgia (UNG) is now part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)....As one of the nation's six senior military colleges, UNG commissions about 100 second lieutenants each year for the active-duty Army, Georgia Army National Guard and the Army Reserve. The vision for the Corps of the future is to commission 120 officers each year.
UNG is also the lone Army-only senior military college in the nation. More than 60 alumni have gone on to become flag officers across multiple military branches, most of them as generals in the Army.
More than half of the commanders in the Georgia Army National Guard are UNG graduates...'
